Resistance Band Workout with Alex | Daniels Group



In this video, Alex will show you four exercises you can do with a looped resistance band. This session can be added to your main workout or used as a break while you are working from home.

Complete choice of exercise for 20 seconds with 10 seconds rest before moving onto the next one. Aim for 2-3 rounds in total.

Exercise 1 – Plank side taps
Beginners: knees down
Advanced: full plank

Exercise 2 – Plank pendulum with the band around ankles
Beginners: 2 pendulums in full plank then knees down.Repeat
Advanced: Holding full plank

Exercise 3 – Banded knee openers
Beginners: Keep hip on the floor
Advanced: Keep hip lifted with the band around legs just above knees

Exercise 4 – Shoulder blade squeeze
Beginners: complete this without a band
Advanced: complete with the band around the hands .
